Shop Her Style: Claudia Schiffer
A good floral dress can take a simple black outfit and add the extra bit of pop we all need during the depressing months of winter. We spotted Claudia Schiffer out on the London streets, in a long-sleeved bright blue floral muumuu, which looks like a spectacular vintage find. Now, fair enough, ...

Louis Vuitton goes back to basics with a return to glamour and grace
Designer Marc Jacobs's collection for the powerhouse label aims to celebrate diversity of women, in all shapes and sizes "Designers are always talking about how they design for women, and then you look at our runways and there no girls over 20," said Marc Jacobs, the American designer of Louis Vuitton, backstage after his blockbuster catwalk show in Paris today. "This time, I set out to cast a variety of sexy women – younger, older, thin, voluptuous, from every ethnic background." Think Anita Ekberg with Grace Kelly's wardrobe: ample cleavage spilling over simple sundresses, tight, glossy belts and long kid gloves. The show's title, And God Created Woman, was apt not just because the look – A-line skirts, pumps, sweetheart necklines, even cat's eye spectacles – drew heavily on the era of Roger Vadim's 1956 film. It was also a reference to the catwalk becoming such a world of teenage waifs, to the extent that the appearance on the catwalk today of 46-year-old Elle Macpherson sent a shock through the audience. Casting an ex-supermodel who is still traffic-stoppingly attractive may not sound like pushing the boundaries, but for a fiercely commercial superbrand such as Vuitton – whose recent openings include a boutique in Ulan Bator, Mongolia – it is a strong statement. The collection, which consisted entirely of skirts and dresses, with natural makeup and ladylike handbags, was a radical departure from last season's frantic, Galliano-esque paeon to festival chic. This is a collection women will want – from Paris to Ulan Bator.

Jennifer Aniston Rumored To Launch Fragrance
Filed under: Fragrance, Beauty, Celebrity, News, Celebrity Beauty
Get ready to smell like Jennifer Aniston. Photo: Getty Images
You knew it was just a matter of time.
Industry insiders say that Jennifer Aniston - one of the only A-list Hollywood stars to not have launched or partnered with a beauty product - is rumored to soon sign a deal with the Falic Group to possibly create her own fragrance later this year. If the deal comes through, it would be the second celeb steal for the Falic Group, who signed Desperate Housewife star Eva Longoria last year for an upcoming April fragrance launch.
The potential project comes at a busy time for the 40 year-old actress, whose latest film, The Bounty Hunter, is set to open on March 19th - followed by "The Switch," which will release later this year. She is currently filming "Just Go With It," and is in pre-production for "The Goree Girls."
We're surprised that Aniston - whose "Rachel" layered cut launched a decade-long cross-country craze - didn't go for what would seemingly be the logical route of hair care products. But money could be talking; celeb fragrance payouts can reach the same dizzying multi-million dollar heights of film productions. Industry experts say that A-listers can fetch as much as $3 million to $10 million for a contract.
Now that's what we call a sweet-smelling deal. Jennifer Aniston Rumored To Launch Fragrance originally appeared on StyleList on Wed, 10 Mar 2010 12:25:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds. Permalink | Email this | Comments

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler Get Steamy for W Magazine

Um, looks like two certain someones need to get a room.
Namely, Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, who are too hot to handle on W Magazine's April cover.
The "Bounty Hunter" co-stars' sexy pic -- way to put those dating rumors to rest -- was snapped by legendary lensman Steven Klein and styled by Alex White over a two-day photo shoot in Canyon Country, Calif.
Klein also photographed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a '60s suburban couple for the Pitt-conceptualized W cover and lengthy feature a few years back -- a shoot that Aniston dubbed insensitive.
Looks like two can play that game!
Aniston also sheds her girl-next-door image in a plunging Alberta Ferretti nude silk chiffon frock paired with Carine Gilson Couture lingerie, sultry Stella McCartney garters and white Lanvin heels for a look inspired by Kim Basinger in "9 1/2 Weeks," according to Aniston's hairstylist, Chris McMillan.
And if you think the cover is sexy, wait until you see the inside images, which show an Agent Provocateur garter-clad Aniston being read her rights by Butler, who's sporting a tight policeman's uniform.
And they say crime doesn't pay.
Aniston also rocks looks from Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana in the shoot, which marks W's first shopping issue, allowing readers to purchase everything the actress wears in the shoot.
For your dose of steamy desert action, pick up the April issue of W, which hits stands March 17.

Calvin Klein Launches Potty-Mouthed Videos To Promote New Underwear Collection
Filed under: Fashion, News, Designers & Brands No stranger to controversy, Calvin Klein is launching a series of expletive-ridden videos to promote CK's new men 's X Underwear collection.
The brand's new microsite, xmarkyourspot.com, features a mini-films with ripped campaign models Kellan Lutz of Twilight fame, Mehcad Brooks from True Blood, Spanish tennis player Fernando Verdasco and Japanese soccer star Hidetoshi Nakata.
Shot by photographer Mikael Jansson and film producer Darius Khondji in New York, the four greased-up and nearly naked men show off the Spring 2010 cotton and microfiber underwear, while baiting viewers with a string of bleep-ed out comments. A sampling, below:
" You want to see my [bleep]? I'll show you my [bleep], if you show me yours. C'mon, don't be shy. You want to see more, you want some [bleep]ing more? You know you like that [bleep]. It's all about the [bleep]ing Calvin's. Calvin Klein X. Mark your spot."
Steamy enough for you?
Fans can also check out behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with each of the hunks, in which they all answer the age-old question, boxers or briefs?, and let us know how they got their bodies CK-ready.
"You just look at it and it talks sex appeal. I think the fans are really going to go kind of crazy over this," says Lutz, 24, a boxer-briefs man who plays a vampire in the Twilight series. "I had to step away from my candy because I have a candy drawer. I had to be good and put the [gummy bears] away."
The Calvin Klein X Underwear collection will hit stores in April 2010, at the same time that the print ads will roll out in April issues of magazines and outdoor billboards will pop up in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
The video ads, which are perhaps too racy for the U.S., will play on MTV in Spain, Italy and the U.K.
What do you think of the new Calvin ads: appropriately brash or distasteful? Let us know in a comment below.

Biore Launches Cleanser Designed for the Shower
Filed under: Beauty, News, Skin & Body

Did you know that 60% of women wash their faces in the shower each morning?
That's what Bioré found while researching new product ideas, so they created their new Steam Activated Cleanser, specifically designed to work with the steam in your shower.
The formula is infused with tiny, ingredient-packed ampoules that burst when they come in contact with the heat and humidity from a steamy shower, releasing fresh active ingredients to foam up and better clear away pore-clogging dirt and oil.
It's infused with cooling mint extract which makes for an eye-opening scent and green tea extract which we've always liked for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
All in all, a good way to start the day.
And the beauty brand, first famous for their pore-purging blackhead strips, has also just launched a good way to end our day; Makeup Removing Towelettes, designed to make our dreaded nighttime grime removal more efficient.
Upon trying them, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the towelette (yes, we needed only one to get the job done) managed to remove all of our makeup, even the last dregs of mascara -- and a waterproof one, at that. Bonus: we did not get that slightly sticky, oily feeling after using it, so there was no need to rinse after using, the way we have in the past.
And speaking of cleansing -- or, rather, the lack there of -- how long would you go between hair washes? Our writer reports on how she normally goes six days between washes, and gets expert opinions on whether she's a smart sudser, or a lazy latherer.
